Therefore, we pay special attention to safeguarding the privacy of visitors accessing the website uni.adservio.ro (hereinafter referred to as the Website), as well as individuals using the ADSERVIO educational platform (hereinafter referred to as the ADSERVIO PLATFORM).<\/p><p>Starting from May 25, 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR) is applicable.<\/p><p>Personal data are those that directly identify a natural person, such as name, surname, home address, email address, or phone number, as well as any other data that may indirectly identify a person, such as, in certain cases, students\u2019 registration numbers.<\/p><p>The GDPR applies to any legal entity that processes personal data in the course of its activities.<\/p><p>We kindly ask you to carefully read this Policy to understand how your personal data will be handled. Through this Policy, we inform you about our practices regarding GDPR compliance, as well as the nature of the personal data we process on the Website and the ADSERVIO PLATFORM, the purposes and legal grounds of processing, and the rights of the data subjects.<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>DEFINITIONS<\/b>:<\/li><\/ol><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>ANSPDCP <\/b>represents the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>\u201cPersonal data\u201d <\/b>means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (&#8216;data subject&#8217;); an identifiable natural person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more elements specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">\u201c<b>Processing\u201d<\/b> means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adapting or altering, retrieving, consulting, using, disclosing by transmission, disseminating or otherwise making available, aligning or combining, restricting, erasing, or destroying.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>\u201cRestriction of processing\u201d<\/b> means the marking of stored personal data for the purpose of limiting their future processing;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>\u201cController\u201d<\/b> means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of the processing are determined by Union or national law, the controller or the specific criteria for its designation may be laid down in Union or national law;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>\u201cProcessor\u201d<\/b> means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body processing personal data on behalf of the controller;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">\u201c<b>Recipient<\/b>\u201d means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body to whom personal data are disclosed, whether or not it is a third party. However, public authorities to which personal data may be disclosed in the context of a particular investigation in accordance with Union or national law are not considered recipients; the processing of such data by those public authorities complies with the applicable data protection rules in accordance with the purposes of the processing;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">\u201c<b>Consent<\/b>\u201d of the data subject means any manifestation of the data subject&#8217;s free, specific, informed and unambiguous will by which he or she accepts, by an unequivocal statement or action, that personal data concerning him or her to be processed.<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"2\"><li>WHO WE ARE<\/li><\/ol><p>We are Adservio Social Inovation S.R.L. with a registered office in Ia\u0219i, Socola Boulevard Street, Number 3, Block D2, Staircase B, 4th floor, Apartment 19, Ia\u0219i County, registered with the Trade Register Office under no. J22\/1482\/2009, having the Unique Registration Code RO 26033834, hereinafter referred to as ADSERVIO. ADSERVIO is the author, owner and administrator of the uni.adservio.ro Website and the ADSERVIO PLATFORM, so that all the information contained in this Policy is related to and valid in relation to the activity on the Website and on the ADSERVIO PLATFORM.<\/p><ol start=\"3\"><li>IDENTITY AND CONTACT DETAILS OF THE DATA PROTECTION OFFICER (DPO) OR (IN ENGLISH DPO)<\/li><\/ol><p>ADSERVIO has appointed a Data Protection Officer (&#8220;DPO&#8221;), who has the obligation to verify compliance with the provisions of the GDPR in the data processing operations carried out by ADSERVIO and to represent ADSERVIO in relation to data subjects and ANSPDCP. Data subjects have the possibility to contact the DPO directly at any time at the following email address:<a href=\"mailto:dpo@adservio.ro\">dpo@adservio.ro<\/a>.<\/p><ol start=\"4\"><li>PRINCIPLES REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA<\/li><\/ol><p>ADSERVIO undertakes to comply with the personal data protection principles set out by the GDPR, in order to ensure that all data are:<\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\">Processed in a fair, lawful and transparent manner;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Adequate, relevant and limited in relation to the purposes for which they are processed;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Accurate and up-to-date;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Kept in a form which does not permit the identification of data subjects for longer than is necessary in relation to the purpose of the processing;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Processed in accordance with the rights of the data subject, in a way that ensures adequate security of the processing, so that the data is integrated, confidential and available.<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"5\"><li><b>WHAT TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT<\/b><\/li><\/ol><p>We inform you that we process the following personal data through the forms on the Site:<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">In the \u201cRequest a Presentation\u201d form: first name and last name, email address, phone number, the organization you represent, your role within the organization, city, and county.<\/li><\/ol><p>These data are required to register you for this event and are processed only if you provide your consent to do so.<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">In <i>the &#8220;CAREERS Section&#8221;<\/i>: the data included in the CV that you choose to send to the <b>jobdeviitor@adservio.ro<\/b> address indicated in the CAREERS section of the Website. The data is necessary for your recruitment into the ADSERVIO team and we process it if you give us your consent in this regard.<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">In the &#8220;Add a comment&#8221; section: Name, email address you entered along with the desired comment. We collect personal data from users of the ADSERVIO PLATFORM for the creation of user accounts and for data subjects to have access to the information provided by the ADSERVIO PLATFORM.<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">Name, surname, specialization, e-mail address, telephone number, image, video recording belonging to the teachers;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Name, surname, class in which he\/she is enrolled, e-mail address, telephone number, image, video recording belonging to the students;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number belonging to the students&#8217; parents;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number belonging to the Directors of the educational establishments with which ADSERVIO has a contractual relationship.<\/li><\/ol><p>No complete profile of the child is available or visible to other parents through the ADSERVIO PLATFORM. ADSERVIO may access the data, when necessary to provide support and help in using the ADSERVIO PLATFORM. All data about parents, teachers, children and\/or grades, absentees, averages are entered into the ADSERVIO PLATFORM by persons appointed by the school with which ADSERVIO has a contractual relationship.<\/p><ol start=\"6\"><li>PURPOSES FOR WHICH WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA<\/li><\/ol><p>We collect and process personal data for the following purposes:<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">To enable registration for a demo presentation, once you have given your consent through the \u201cRequest a Presentation\u201d form;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">To recruit you to the ADSERVIO team, once you have given your consent by sending your CV to jobdeviitor@adservio.ro;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">To receive and analyze your comments, once you have given your consent through the \u201cAdd a Comment\u201d form;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">To send you newsletters, invitations, materials related to our services, and information about events or programs we organize or promote, once you have given your consent through the \u201cDiscover all Adservio news\u201d form;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">To contact you, once you have given your consent through the \u201cContact Us\u201d form;<\/li><\/ol><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">To enable the creation of your account on the ADSERVIO PLATFORM;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">To ensure the proper functioning of the ADSERVIO PLATFORM;<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and to assist in the recovery of your account or username via SMS.<\/li><\/ol><ol start=\"7\"><li>LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA<\/li><\/ol><p>ADSERVIO processes personal data from the Website and the ADSERVIO PLATFORM based on:<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">Consent given by the individuals who provide us with their data (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR);<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">The performance of a contract to which you are a party (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Compliance with a legal obligation applicable to us (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR);<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">According to the legitimate interest of ADSERVIO (art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR).<\/li><\/ol><ol start=\"8\"><li>TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA<\/li><\/ol><p>We will disclose your personal data to you. where necessary, for example by law or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law or to protect the security or integrity of the Site and the ADSERVIO PLATFORM. There are also situations in which the data is sent to the competent authorities and institutions, lawyers. Whenever we use subcontractors, acting either as a data controller or as a processor, we ensure that the requirements set by the GDPR are met and that your data is not met. are processed in an appropriate manner. The ADSERVIO PLATFORM is aligned with GDPR requirements and uses encryption and security technologies to protect personal data.<\/p><p>ADSERVIO will not disclose personal data collected through the ADSERVIO PLATFORM, except to authorized ADSERVIO employees and ADSERVIO contractors\/partners acting as processors.<\/p><p>ADSERVIO, together with its collaborators, has assumed responsibility for implementing adequate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction, in accordance with GDPR, as follows:<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">Users who have access to the personal data database are only those who have created an account on the ADSERVIO PLATFORM, each using their own username and password.<\/li><\/ol><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">All ADSERVIO employees, collaborators, and service providers who come into contact with personal data must act in accordance with the principles of the personal data protection and security policies and procedures, signing confidentiality agreements regarding such data.<\/li><\/ol><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">Computers used to access the database are password-protected and have up-to-date antivirus, antispam, and firewall solutions implemented.<\/li><\/ol><ol start=\"12\"><li>LOCATION OF PERSONAL DATA<\/li><\/ol><p>Personal data are stored in the cloud, and in physical format, on the territory of Romania, in full compliance with legal requirements and in conditions of maximum security and protection.<\/p><ol start=\"13\"><li>WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE IN RELATION TO PERSONAL DATA<\/li><\/ol><p>We ensure that your rights under applicable law are fully respected.<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">Right of Access<\/li><\/ol><p>The right of access means the right of the data subject to obtain confirmation from the controller as to whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed and, if so, access to such data and information about how it is being processed.<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\">Right to Data Portability<\/li><\/ol><p>The right to data portability refers to the right to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used, and
